There was a fire outbreak on Tuesday night in an apartment in Mboppi, not far from Mboppi Baptist hospital (Bingo).

According to reports, when the fire broke out some tenants were around. They were able to put out the fire thanks to the involvement of neighbours and prompt response of the firefighters.

At the moment, the main cause of the fire is unknown but the owner suspects that one of the tenants may have forgotten to turn off his iron thus causing the fire outbreak. The incident recorded some property damage but there was no loss of life.
