The Mortal remains of the Mayor of Limbe III, Isaac Inongo Dalle, who slept in the lord last July 3 at a tender age of 39 will be removed from the Limbe Regional Hospital Mortuary on Friday August 9.
Family sources hinted to the Sun that after a meeting with the administration the date was fixed for the funeral programme.
According to Luma Dalle, Elder brother of the deceased, it is going to an administrative ceremony giving that his brother died in active service. Almost two weeks after his demise, family members, friends and political partners keep sending in words of condolences to the family.
Mola Samuel Tanga, Secretary General of the CPDM in Fako I, told THE SUN in a telephone conversation that Isaac Dalle was a very energetic youth and resourceful in leadership.
He said Dalle was sub-section president of lumpsum, Church Street, before becoming section president of YCPDM in Fako I.
According to Mola Tanga Samuel, the hard working young man always takes advice and that since he became mayor; he has always shown signs of foresight in leadership.
“Being quarter head in a difficult place like Lumpsum Church Street is not an easy task but the young and energetic Dalle braved it successfully till he died”, Mola Tanga told The Sun.
Meanwhile, John Elufa Manga Williams former YCPDM Section President told the SUN that Dalle was a sharp politician, very witty and devoted to the party.
According to John Elufa Manga Williams, Isaac Dalle’s devotion to the party made him to be very submissive reasons why he grew fast in party hierarchy.
His party boss, Andrew Monjimba Motanga who was shocked by the demise of a boy whom the city refers to as his own son could not hold back words during the last council session of July 11.
“I would like all of us to rise and observe a minute of deep silence in memory Mayor Dalle Isaac Inongo, the very young and energetic mayor of Limbe III sub divisional Council who made a premature exit from this world last Thursday, July 3, 2014,” he called.
Motanga continued that at his very young age late Mayor Dalle has left indelible footprints in the CPDM Fako I and the municipality. He was the first Chairman of the Works and Development Committee of the City Council Board and until his death was an ex-officio member of the Board in his capacity as Mayor of Limbe III.
We lack words to match the depth of grief that his departure has inflicted on his young wife and kids, family members, council workers, the CPDM party, his multiple friends at home and abroad.
I want on behalf of the Senior Councillors and workers of this Council to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and pray that God Almighty gives us all the fortitude to bear this very painful loss.”
His young widow, Yvette lacked words to explain how she fells though she keeps on flapping the pages of her husbands Installation album in disbelieve. Mourners keep thronging his Church Street residence to extend their sympathy to the bereaved family.
The detail funeral programme according to his elder Brother Luma Dalle will be made public in the days ahead.
Council session without Dalle
In the wake of preparations for the funeral of Isaac Dalle, the administration has slated Friday 18 July as the date for the first Ordinary Session of the Limbe III Council for the year 2014, dedicated to the examination of the administrative, management and stores accounts of the 2013 financial year.
With the demise of the Mayor, only 24 councillors will be part of the deliberation at the Bimbia Council Chambers.
With accusing fingers pointing at some councillors, popular opinion holds that the session of Friday 18 July is going to produce fireworks.
