Mbengwi, Batibo celebrates new deal hero

Maiden outing of Minister Mbah Acha née Fomundam Rose pulled crowds in Mbengwi, Batibo.

The event was President Biya’s 33rd anniversary at the helm of State and CPDM faithfuls in Mbengwi and Batibo took turns to count their blessings with Paul Biya as their standard bearer.

It was a day for them to recognize President Biya’s love for Momo division with the latest in their list of blessings being the appointment of an illustrious daughter, Mbah Acha nee Fomundam Rose Engwari as the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit.

Setting the tone for the anniversary messages for Momo I and II, CPDM section leaders, Mayors and traditional rulers, Tebe Beatrice, Tembi Jacob, their Majesties, Teche Njei II, Mbah Nyamsig said it was a rare moment to celebrate their hero, Paul Biya, an icon, a man of divine wisdom and a reference point for peace, tolerance and nation building. Speaker after speaker sounded off about 33 years of the President whom they say has never forgotten Momo division.

They showcased the last government reshuffle where Momo was still favoured with the appointment of Madam Mbah Acha Rose. Song and dance demonstrated President Biya’s special love for Momo division with revelations by Tembi Jacob that construction work is on course on the bumpy Mbengwi- Acha road.

It was also a moment for special prayers committing Minister Mbah Acha née Fomundam Rose Engwari to God’s care. They found in her, another blessing for Metta and Moghamo people. Anniversary songs and support marches on the streets of Mbengwi and Batibo dropped curtains on the event.
