Senators support Monatélé community

Senators have recently delivered generators to the local elected officials of the Lékié in the context of their parliamentary tour Friday.

Group of generators and computers were sent out to the nine communities in the Lékié Department. This was given by Senators from the Cameroon People Democratic Movement, CPDM, of the Centre, in view of the 6th step towards their parliamentary tour of the region.

As in the previous steps, the Group of senators from the Centre, with Jean-Marie Mama as leader, provided efficient solutions to the problems posed by the mayors themselves, namely generators to mitigate the problem of accidental electrical power failure and computers to connect to the world of information and communication Technologies (ICT).

Well before this delivery of donations, senators and mayors gathered for a working session, in the presence of the prefet Lékié, Patrick Simou Kamsu and the Chairman of the CPDM National Assembly Parliamentary Group, Jean-Bernard Ndongo Essomba.

During this occasion, Pascal Anong Adibimé, Senator at the centre (Mbam-et-Inoubou), deporting the experience of the local elected officials of his Department in the field of trade unions, spoke to mayors of the Lékié on the issue. For him, "it is a framework for defence and realization of the general interests» The Union led to the positive change through inter-municipal projects ".

Luc René Bell of Nyong-and-Kelle returned to the extensive work of the Senate during the last session of Parliament. In his opening remarks, Jean-Marie Mama invited mayors to bring their useful contributions, for the frank and beneficial collaboration between Senators and mayors.

To this end, he indicated that a permanence of the Senators of the Centre is now open in Yaoundé, to facilitate meetings and discuss the concerns of people. The prefect Patrick Simou Kamsu welcomed "this timely and uplifting encounter which permits a dream for a better tomorrow in the Lékié.
