Woman drags lover to police station over paternity

Ghislaine Ada, 35 years and teacher at a kindergarten at New-Bell in Ebolowa has filed a complaint against 40-year old Désiré Stéphane Ezo’o Ezo'o her lover for trying to escape paternity of her pregnancy. The case was brought to the regional division of the judicial police of the south on March 11, 2015.

The teacher accused her lover of not taking care of her five-month pregnancy whereas the accused argued that he did not want the pregnancy because he is married and a father of two children.

He also said he is uncertain of being responsible for the pregnancy, as the woman is living with another man. Metropolitan officer also said he suggested that the woman does an abortion because he is not ready to assume responsibility for this pregnancy, but the woman refused citing her reason as being religious. The accused claimed that her lover only wants to destabilize his home.

Désiré Stéphane Ezo’o Ezo o'o declared that the teacher went to his home on Sunday, February 08, to create a scene in front of his wife.

The head of the regional division of the judicial police of the South, the Commissioner Henrick Walter Elouna, regretted the fact that "responsible" adults were unable to agree on a pregnancy. He then urged the two sexual partners to assume responsibility for their actions.
