In their encounter against Burundi on Sunday in Yaoundé, the baby lions 1-1 tie saw them grab a ticket for the final round of the tourney after a 2-1 aggregate.
The lions will now need to beat South Africa in other to be part of the 2015 Orange CAF U-20 Championship jamboree in Senegal.
They will take up the game in the month of August in Yaoundé.
The visitors opened scores after Mvuyekure was able to beat Cameroon’s goalkeeper,Fabrice Ondoa of Barcelona FC. The lions reacted through Marius Noubissi at the 31st minute to make it 1-1.
After the goal, Marius saw red after the referee believed he had thrown his boots to the population. The 10-man lions had to brave through to maintain the scores at 1-1 to make it to the final round.
The encounter was also watched by Indomitable Lions player, Carlos Kameni who was present to cheer the baby lions to victory.
