2016 BSFC: Mbiame United stun Dzeekwa United

Mbiame United FC has registered its name in the 2016 winning records of the annual football jamboree dubbed Bui Sport Fans Competition, BSFC.

The 9th edition of the BSFC launched on April 10 is set to run till July 31 when the final would be played.

Disputed last Sunday at the University of Yaounde I Campus, Mbiame United spanked Dzeekwa United in the opening match of the 9th edition by 1-0.

Having dominated the entire match, Mbiame United’s goal came at the 29th minutes in the first half through Sunjo Sylvanus.

Dzeekwa would have balanced the score line in the second period of the game but showed less vigour as they wasted all their opportunities.

Meanwhile in the second encounter of the day, newly promoted Bui Diaspora FC humbled another new comer, Ngonso Taxi Drivers FC on a similar score. Bui Diaspora FC scored their lone goal two minutes to the end of the first period through Vernyuy Evans.

Next Sunday, Dzeekwa United will face Bui Diaspora FC while Faakui FC takes on new comers NDECA Youths FC.

The competition will be played as a round robin tournament in which each team out of the six participating “meets all other contestants in turn” ten times.

The competition is organized by Bui Strikers FC club base in Yaoundé and is aim at identify and promoting young talents from Bui Division.
