Mighty Be Forward Cameroonian forward Lionel Asu has terminated his contract with the team after a long time contractual battle.
His agent, Prince Jere says he has informed the Nomads about Asu's decision. He added that Asu is done with Mighty Wanderers and some South African top league clubs have started showing interest to sign the Cameroonian striker.
"We are in the process of terminating his contract. It is very unfortunate that Wanderers were not being straightforward as regards their contractual obligations. It is said that things have reached this point," said Jere.
Mighty Be Forward Wanderers General Secretary Mike Butao said he was not aware of Asu's decision. "But I know I have a meeting with him tomorrow (today). In any case, if he wants opt out of his contract to go and sort out his personal issues, we are ready to release him," said Butao.
So far Asu has made five league appearances for the Nomads and in the process he has scored three goals.
