Brazil 2014 is Cameroon’s worst ever World Cup

Sports pundits are saying that never has Cameroon ever performed so poorly in any World Cup as that of Brazil 2014.

It is the only World Cup where Cameroon scored only one goal and eliminated without a point. Most importantly, it is the only World Cup where the Indomitable Lions displayed what the Cameroon Football Federation has called ‘disgraceful behaviour.’

It is also the only World Cup where players like Alex Song, Assou-Ekotto, Benjamin Moukandjo and Allan Nyom transformed the beautiful game of football into Boxing, Wrestling, Karate and if you like, Taekwondo. The lapses in this World Cup are just so many that one cannot enumerate all.

In fact, former Cameroon international Patrick Suffo believes Cameroon’s abject performances at the World Cup in Brazil are a repeat of past failures and will continue unless there are radical changes in way the country's football is run.

Let the facts speak
