The Western New York Flash announced two international signings on Thursday, both forwards.
The club signed Ajara Nchout Njoya from Cameroon and Camilla Kur-Larsen from Denmark. Following last season the Flash parted ways with the Spanish trio of Adriana, Vicky Losada, and Sonia Bermudez.
“We’re bringing in two dynamic young forwards who have a proven ability to score goals,” coach and general manager Aaran Lines said in a team release.
Nchout Njoya is expected to be with Cameroon at the World Cup, but Kur-Larsen should be with the Flash for the balance of the season.
Lines is looking forward to Kur-Larsen injecting some of her international club experience into the Flash who are looking to rebound from a disappointing 2014 season.
The 25-year old owns 7 Champions League goals from 31 appearances.
She is currently with Fortuna Hjorring at home in Denmark and before that was a major producer at Brondby IF.
Nchout Njoya, 22, has played professionally in Cameroon and Russia and also has Champions League experience.
