Chicharito Hernandez to start from bench against Cameroon

According to ESPN Deportes’ sources, Miguel Herrera will not start Javier Hernandez against Cameroon. The Mexican striker will therefore start from the bench and hope to be subbed in as soon as possible.

Many Mexican supporters were shocked at the decision and would like for Manchester United’s attacker to start, in order to create as many problems for the Africans as feasible.

The Mexican player was not exactly happy about the decision, as he is a player who strives to start every game to make an impact. However, in an interview with ESPN’s John Sutcliffe, Chicharito diplomatically stated:

“The thing is, I don't feel myself to be a starting player but as well I don't feel like to be a substitute. I am a player that shows that he wants to play as many minutes as possible and that this player has a lot of hunger to be here.”

But there is another, less obvious theory: Herrera may just be playing mind games to try and confuse Cameroon and their manager.
