After passing his medical, former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o has signed a two-year deal with Everton, the club has announced on Tuesday evening.
“ETO’O SIGNS: Everton sign 3-times Champions League winner @setoo9 on a two-year deal. #WelcomeSamuel,” tweeted the Toffes on their official account.
The 33-year old will have the opportunity to reunite with his former teammates when the Blues travel to Goodison Park on Saturday.
Linked with a move to Merseyside rivals Liverpool, the Cameroon star ultimately landed at their neighbours with the Reds hiring the services of AC Milan’s star Mario Balotelli.
