Eto’o too expensive for QPR

EPL newly promoted side Queens Park Rangers have considered hiring the services of former Chelsea’s striker Samuel Eto’o according to reports from the Daily Mail.

But the Cameroonian’s wages expectations are not really compatible with the club’s resources.

A free agent since the expiry of his one-year deal with the Blues on June 30, Eto’o has been linked with several outfits this summer, including Galatasaray, Roma, Arsenal, Mallorca and a few MLS teams.

The 33-year old has scored 12 goals in 35 appearances for Chelsea last season, before being side-lined for most of Cameroon’s World Cup campaign in Brazil with a knee injury.
