Mbia blames team doctors for flouting 15-day rest period

Stéphane Mbia Etoundi, captain of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon blames coaches and doctors for not observing the period of 15 days of rest prescribed by physicians of his club, Sevilla Fc.

"I don't want controversy, but I also think that the job was not done," he said earlier this week to the website fifa.com. Confronted by the interviewer, Mbia explained saying, "it's complicated. I'm supposed to take 15 days off after my injury. The medical staff and the fitness coach made me get back earlier than the set time. Thus, I have not fully recovered as you can see for yourself."

However, Sevilla Fc player does not want to raise any alarm. This indicates that he does not want any controversy as the most important thing for him now is for him to recover and support his teammates in the impending matches.
