Middlesbrough and West Brom have expressed an interest in Lyon defender Henri Bedimo, claim reports in France.
The Cameroon international is expected to be a free agent next month after repeatedly stalling on renewing his contract with the Ligue 1 side.
Middlesbrough and West Brom are not the only clubs keen on landing the right-back, with Lille and Nantes also monitoring his situation.
However, according to L'Equipe, Bedimo is leaning towards a switch to the Premier League, where he is likely to be offered a bigger pay packet, and has ordered his agent to seek contact with Boro and West Brom.
The 31-year-old has spent the whole of his senior career in France and is understood to be chasing a spell at a Premier League club before his playing days are over.
