Rigobert Song Bahanag has been sacked as the Team Manager of the senior national team and replaced with Alphonse Marie Tchami Djomaha.
The federation announced the change today on their Facebook page. Song was appointed some years ago by teh federation under the Iya Mohammed era as a buffer to Eto’o Fils influence.
Song’s sack comes after the changes in the national team with the Minister appointing coaches and he was the only person not replaced besides Finke.
There have been agitations in some quarters asking for his sack as one of the actors in Cameroon’s World Cup debacle.
Tchami Djomaha, a retired Indomitable Lion, has as a player participated to two FIFA World Cups (1994 and 1998) and two African Cup of Nations (1996 and 1998).
He played professional football fro clubs like Odense BK (Danemark), Rubin Kazan (Russia) and Boca Juniors (Argentina) among others. Tchami Djomaha is a holder of a Coaching Certificate from Clairefontaine, France.
