We want to play our best football - Alain Giresse

Seeking a maiden Nations Cup title for the Lions of Teranga, Senegal coach Alain Giresse says his team will go out to try and play their best football during the 30th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Senegalese coach says he is aware of the challenge in the so called Group of Death but reckons that being on top of their game would be most important.

"I'm aware of the value of the teams in our group and know that they are very strong. We prepared to be strong and to be on top of our capabilities in this tournament. We want to play our best football," he said adding that playing their best football would deal with the question of qualifying from the group.

"The two teams going out of our group will face the teams from the other group of death (Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Mali, Guinea). So it will be very difficult in this tournament but we are focused and want to get play the best we can," he said.
