West Ham United have reportedly decided against offering permanent contracts to loan signings Alex Song, Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike.

Alex Song will return to the discipline of FC Barcelona at end of season. Cameroonian midfielder, on loan to West Ham United, has a contract with the Catalan giants until June 30, 2017.

As reported by the British television channel Sky Sports, Slaven Bilic, coach of West Ham, believes Song does not want to continue on the given performance in the Premier League. West Ham United are currently 6th in the Barclays Premier League.

Alex Song has played only 15 games, but suffered an ankle injury that kept him sidelined for more than two months earlier this season.

FC Barcelona signed the Cameroon star in the summer of 2012 after a successful career at Arsenal. The Catalan club paid €19 million for his transfer, but he gave up two years later at West Ham. After two seasons in the English side, his future is currently uncertain.

The 28-year-old should return to the staff of FC Barcelona in the summer, but the club could find a way out and earn income from his sale in order to fund transfers in the summer. Song does not fit the sporting plans of Barcelona in the 2016-17 campaign.
