Terrorism Bill: Ni John Fru Ndi threatens Paul Biya

The leader of the Social Democratic Front, SDF, has spoken on measures to terrorize the people. He calls on his countrymen to "resist by all means"

A strong statement emanated from the Chairman of the Social Democratic Front Ni John Fru Ndi in his reaction published in the daily newspaper Le Jour on Thursday December 4 about the bill on terrorism.

He said, threatening "if Biya wants to be abusive, let him try and we'll see." Ni John Fru Ndi argues that "the problem faced is basically Nigerian Boko Haram" and that he does not need to extend its ramifications to the entire Cameroon nation.

He wondered what will happen to the thousands of Cameroonians who hold protests. For him, they are "draconian measures" of another era.

"I see a strategy to terrorize the people and indoctrinate freedoms. Do we want to go back to the period of the maquis with the law of the order? Cameroonians must resist and say no to this other movement. Cameroonians must resist by all manners from parliament to the people," says the Chairman.
