It sounds good and lofty.The CCIB may have good plans for producers but I AM SORRY to note that produce buyers are better organised than farmers(producers). Moreso,most produce buyers with the support of their partners are stronger in every aspect than the farmers lumped up in cooperatives. Take notice that almost all buyers are now producers, who by the current legislation in force are eligible to head The Internal Marketing Committees, either by themselves or throug their proxies.The law of osmosis is at work!

In the present state of affairs the bigger fishes are bound to eat the small fishes until the Government steps in to protect the small fishes.It is my wish that greed does not compromise the initiative CCIB is making.Who are members of these marketing committees? If the present leadership of cooperatives is any indication of things to be, then we are lost because we all know they are there for personal interest. How did they get there in the first place?
