2015 edition of FENASCO launched

The 2015 edition of the secondary school games dubbed, Fenassco A, commenced on March 6, 2015 in Yaounde.

It was conducted in collective sports disciplines such as handball, football, basketball, and volleyball. Meanwhile, it was stated that each team in gymnastics will comprise four boys and four girls.

Speaking during the ceremony, the president of Fenasco A league, Rigobert Mandeng said the objective is to organized the games in a better way this year in Nkongsamba than in Ebolowa last year.

He disclosed that a code of conduct has been adopted for the athletes and officials alike and that sanctions will be meted out to anyone who breached these codes of conduct.

The games will be taking place this year under the theme, “school sports and the promotion of patriotic values”. This reason, Rigobert Mandeng said the national anthem will be sung at every game site every morning before the start of competitions.

He also disclosed that Fenasco A will be represented in the upcoming world school championship in Limoges by College Mvogt in basketball.
