The government has disbursed a sum of 8 billion FCFA for the rehabilitation of two hotels in Buea.

It says it’s objective is to make the hosting of female African Cup of Nations a complete success.

For this reason, two hotels in Buea will be reconditioned to ensure a better accommodation of teams taking part in this competition organised by CAF which will take place in Cameroon from November 19 to December 3, 2016.

Accordingly, Cameroonian society Gresceram International is the largest beneficiary of this contracts for the project and it will receive a total budget of 5.6 billion FCFA for the rehabilitation of Buea Mountain Hotel, with a consortium of two other domestic companies.

The Group Somaf won the second contract worth 2.5 billion FCFA for the rehabilitation and extension of the Parliamentarian Flats Hotel Buea. The work that will last eight months is expected to start in January 2016.
