Cameroon, Nigeria, Senegal and defending champions Angola, on Thursday, advanced to the Semi-Finals of AfroBasket Women 2015 to keep their title hopes very much alive.

A sellout crowd at Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex saw hosts Cameroon beat Egypt 76-54 to reach the Final Four for the second time in a row.

Once again Ramses Lonlack came up with crucial plays leading the home side with a game-high 20 points as they set up a Semi-Final against Nigeria on Friday.

The Nigerians beat Mozambique 71-66 in the first Quarter-Final played on the country's Independence Day. Joyce Ekworomadu led them with a game-high 20 points while Odelia Mafanela and Deolinda Ngulela had a combined 34 points for Mozambique.

It was business as usual for Senegal who trounced Mali 57-38 to reach the competition's Semi-Final stage for the 13th time in a row.

The 10-time African champions had a slow start to the game but kept the best for last as they improved their mark at AfroBasket Women 2015 to 4-2.

Aya Traore scored nine of her game-high 20 points from beyond the arc as Senegal kept their aspirations of reaching the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics very much alive.

In the last Quarter-Final, title holders Angola held on for a 57-44 win over Gabon to set up a Semi-Final against Senegal.

Meanwhile, in the battle to determine places 9-12, Uganda denied Algeria 75-73, improving their mark to 2-4, while the Algerians are yet to win a game.

Guinea, who played without leading scorer Nadia Peruch-Niang, saw off South Africa 61-57.
The Senegal versus Mali game will be played on October 1, 2015, as part of the quarter finals of 2015 Afrobasket Women in Yaoundé (Cameroon).
