Anti FIFA and CAF demonstration begins in Yaounde

Cameroon football fans have announced massive demonstrations against the only candidate approved by the FIFA commission charged with the normalization of the Cameroon football federation aka FECAFOOT.

The manifestations that started yesterday in Yaounde against Tombi a Roko Siddiki is geared towards mounting pressure on the Cameroonian authorities to allow free and fair elections.

The Joseph Owona committee disqualified five out of the six lists among them the people’s candidate Joseph Bell Antoine.

Some media houses in Cameroon have painted Roko Siddiki as representing the corrupt FIFA and CAF interest in Cameroon football.

The organizers of the demonstrations have promised to carry on until changes are made before the 29 of November –the day of the general elections.
