Barça B keeper makes Cameroon debut aged 18

Having been called up to the Cameroon squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, ‘Azulgranas’ keeper Joseph Fabrice Ondoa won his first cap in the 2-0 away win in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Clinton Njie and Vincent Aboubakar were the two scorers.

The youngster, who has come up through the ranks at the Barça academy, made his full international debut at the tender age of 18, and he did it in some style. He played particularly well in the second half, when he managed to keep a clean sheet despite his side being put under intense pressure.

The shotstopper, who had already represented his country at under-20 level, seems to have the full confidence of his national coach, Volker Finke, in his attempts to build a new-look Cameroon side following unusual events at the Brazil World Cup.
