CONFEJES harmonizes its system of training in Yaounde

The development of a joint training programme for Francophone institutes of youth and sports is underway.

The first meeting of Directors and Directors General of youth and sport institutes in Africa kicked off Monday at the auditorium of the national Institute of youth and sports (INJS) Yaoundé December 15.

A dozen French-speaking countries in the continent are meeting in the Cameroonian capital till Thursday, December 18, 2014, in order to harmonize the process of formation of frameworks, and consequently, to develop a common training programme.

This is to provide the network of an integrated strategic plan which will be taken into account in programming 2015/2018 of the Conference of Ministers of youth and sports of la Francophonie (Confejes).

Specifically, the interchangeability of the students will be an essential tool according to the recommendations of the recent Summit of la Francophonie in Dakar.

This meeting of revival of francophone training institutes of youth and Sport followed the session of the Standing Consultative Committee on training of executives, which brought together 14 francophone youth and sport training institutes, on 27 and 28 October in Dakar.

Founded in 1969, CONFEJES, Conference of Ministers of youth and sports of la Francophonie which consists of 42 States and Governments is in close collaboration with the international organization of la Francophonie to which she joined in its actions in favour of youth.
