Reported by kit release website todosobrecamisetas, Cameroon’s World Cup kits have been published for the public to see.
Unsurprisingly, their kits are once again sponsored by Puma and the home strip is their traditional green with red streaks in the collars, whereas the away kit is a yellow replica. Rather spectacularly, each kit has an encrypted classy design of their traditional Lions into the jersey.
One man who will lead the Cameroonians out adorning this beautiful new kit is Chelsea’s Samuel Eto’o. The legendary striker is the country’s top goalscorer of all time with 55 goals, and he has 112 caps to demonstrate his loyalty to his country.
This summer’s World Cup in Brazil will be the Chelsea striker’s last major competition on the international stage, and he will hope to go out with a bang.
The Lions unfortunately have been drawn into a very tough group, containing hosts Brazil, an impressive Croatia plus a plucky Mexico side. Samuel Eto’o will lead his side out against the former Gold Cup winners first on the 13th June, before Cameroon face Croatia and then Brazil in a potential all or nothing final game.
Other notable stars who will adorn the kit are former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song, QPR loan star Benoit Assou-Ekotto and former Aston Villa midfielder Jean II Makoun.
