Coton Sport held to goalless draw

Coton Sport were held to a goalless draw by SM Sanga Balende in Garoua on Saturday afternoon, in the first leg of their CAF Champions League’s round of 32 tie.

That is not the perfect start to their continental campaign for the Cameroonian giants, who however managed to keep a valuable clean sheet ahead of their trip to DR Congo in a fortnight for the return leg.

Manager Didier Gomes Da Rosa’s men will have to find the back of the net on the road and make sure to get something out from their trip to keep alive their hopes of reaching once again the group stage of Africa’s foremost club competition.
