Coton Sports to host ASEC Mimosa

Coton Sports of Garoua will on Saturday play host to visiting ASEC Mimosa of Cote d’Ivoire in an encounter counting for the 4th day of play of the group stage of the ongoing African Confederations Cup.

Coton Sport will be out to conserve their leadership position in Group A and thereby take a good option towards qualifying for the semi finals as only the first two teams in each group qualify for the next stage of the competition.

Coton Sport remains at the summit of the group with seven points, two points richer than Leopards, with ASEC Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire and Malian side, AS Real in that order with two and one points respectively.

Coton sport joined the Confederations cup after being butted out of the more prestigious African champions league and is gunning for the Confederation cup title to salvage their season.
