The draws of the Cup of Cameroon round of 32 seem to be a tough one for Southwest Regional DII side, Mount Cameroon and for League 1 side, YOSA, after the two were paired against New Stars of Douala and Canon of Yaounde, respectively.
Mount Cameroon, winners in 2002 against Sable of Batie, will take on Professional League 1 side, New Stars of Douala that were beaten in the 2012 final by Unisport of Bafang. While Mount Cameroon will be looking forward to rewriting history, New Stars are on a journey of correcting the error they made in 2012.
On her part, YOSA will face Canon of Yaounde after both sides met at the Cup of Cameroon final in 2013, with YOSA carrying the day after post-match penalties. The duel between the two will be a tough one, since both sides are in League 1.
Canon of Yaounde has won the Cup of Cameroon more than any other club. The 11 time winners of the Cup of Cameroon will be looking forward to winning it again after they lastly did in 1999.
The top match of the day will pit Union Sportive of Douala against Unisport of Bafang. Union of Douala are looking forward to winning their first Cup of Cameroon, while the 2012 winners, Unisport, are hoping to make it too. Both teams currently occupy the 2nd and 4th positions, respectively, in League 1.
