Demand for Samuel Eto’o shirt surpass supply in Bamenda

Recently in Bamenda, the regional capital of Northwest Region of Cameroon, the demand for the Lions number 9 shirt worn by Lions’ skipper, Samuel Eto’o has exceeded supply.

Also in high demand, is the number 13 shirt worn by Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting that has also witnessed a high demand by the people of Northwest Region.

The shirts sold at some FCFA 10.000 per shirt, might witnessed some price hike if demand continues going high as it is now.

It should be noted that it was after the two plays put on a mater show in the friendly against Germany and also finding the back of the net that Lions supporters in this part of the country all rushed to the market.

Meanwhile, supporters have decided not to buy the Lions’ yellow shirt claiming it has ill-luck as they believed the Lions always lost when they play with the yellow shirt.

The lions will be playing their last warm up game in Yaoundé against Moldova before bidding the fans farewell as they leave for Brazil.
