Athletes and their delegation have recently completed five days of competition at the multi-disciplinary competition which was in its fourth edition: the 'Dixiades 2014", otherwise called the Olympics of Cameroon.
The competition was recently closed in Yaounde. During the games, Cameroon Central Region finished at the top with 79 medals: 36 gold, 30 silver and 13 bronze, followed by the Littoral Region totalling 53 medals.
The Republic of Congo arrived in fifth position in the overall standings, while Gabon, Chad and the Central African Republic closed the table, Sao Tome and Principe and Equatorial Guinea were involved without taking part in the competition.
The Olympic flag was forthwith delivered to the Southern Region that will house the fifth edition of 'Dixiades' in Ebolowa.
