Thus, two years after the exclusion of Association footballers of Cameroon (AFC), the General Assembly of the Cameroon football Federation stated that footballers will be again represented in the governing bodies of the Fecafoot through RFC Chaired by Emmanuel Maboang Kessack.

This decision of the Standardization Committee brought to an end the nearly 20 years of reign of the Association of Cameroonian footballers (AFC), which became national Union of Cameroonian footballers. A pioneering association chaired since its founding by David Mayebi. The latter is in conflict with some of his comrades who accused him of misappropriation of the funds of the former AFC.
