Laurence Fotso, Head of the Department of Communication and Marketing at Fecafoot visited the office of the president of the Committee for Standardization of the Cameroon Football Federation to finalize preparations towards AFCON 2015.
While training has already begun for the Lions in Yaounde, everything is ready on the administrative level too. "Everything is now in the hands of the coach," Laurence Fotso intimated.
On the thorny issue of bonuses, he reassured saying, "the Prime Minister did the arbitration following the recent decree of the President of the Republic on national selections. At his request, the Fecafoot has made a budget proposal but it is the Government that will release the funds including premiums.
Everything has been settled since December 24. The amount of the premiums and the budget of the competition will all be communicated when government releases the funds. We do not want any dramas surrounding the premiums this time'.
A chartered plane has been organised exclusively to convey the Lions to the tournament. "The aircraft will carry no persons other than the players."
It is the same plane that will convey them to Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. The delegation of the Fecafoot and the official delegation will leave Yaounde for the competition", noted a source.
