Hull City are in talks to sign Cameroon international defender Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik from French club Rennes, according to Sky sources.
The 25-year-old, who was not part of Cameroon’s World Cup squad but has five caps, has made over 100 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.
Metz-born Kana-Biyik began his professional career at Le Havre, where he won promotion to Ligue 1 as Ligue 2 champions in 2008.
His performances caught the attention of the France national setup, and he made five appearances for the Under-21s, but opted to make a full international debut for Cameroon in 2012.
