Indomitable Lions drop in latest Fifa rankings

Fifa has made public its monthly ranking of the national football teams. Paradoxically, the best two selections for the last round of qualifying for the Equatorial Guinea AFCON 2015 dropped.

Algeria lost three places (18th) and Cameroon dropped a rank (41st). While the Algerian selection lost last week its last match of the qualifying round for the AFCON 2015, Cameroon has completed its own match with a draw.

But the Algeria is the first team in the Continent, followed by the Tunisia who won nine seats (22nd) and the Ivory Coast who has progressed a rank (24th), thus putting an end to a series of tumbles which lasted three months.

Globally, the world champion, Germany remains on the first step of the podium, followed by the Argentina and Colombia. All three have made the stand still.
