The top match, on Saturday, will be DAC 2000 versus Racing.

The league two championship will begin on Saturday June 14 with matches scheduled in stadiums around the country. On the look-out will be the performance of the league leaders, Racing of Bafoussam and the two challengers, Eding Sports and Aigle Royal of Menoua.

Racing, the away leg champion is leading the points tally with 34 points and a victory against DAC 2000 at the Reunification stadium in Douala will enable the TPO to consolidate her grip on the championship.

Eding Sport in the second position will be turning the heat on Racing when they take on Matelots next Saturday at the annex number one of the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde in an effort to reduce the gap separating them from the league leaders. Aigle Menoua in the third position will be out to keep pace with the league leaders and runners-up when they play host to Dynamo at the municipal stadium in Dschang.

While the top trio will be jostling for points to keep their chances in tact of ascending to first division next year, those at the bottom will be engaged in a battle of survival. This will be the case with bottom placed Scorpion of Bé, when they travel to Ngaoundere to challenge local side University of Ngaoundere.

Ngoketoundja, AS Belabo and Dynamo are involved in the same situation and will be trying to hop out of the relegation zone when they take on National Polytechnic, Etoa Meki and Aigle respectively next Saturday. Colombe of Sangmelima will be on standby given that there are 17 teams left in the championship after the withdrawal of Sable Batie.
