Lions Resume Training for Guinea Bissau Match

After the 1-2 defeat by Libya in Sfax-Tunisia, the Indomitable Lions returned to the country on Monday, June 1, 2012, to begin preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against Guinea Bissau next Saturday at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde.

Upon arrival in Yaounde the Lions were given the green card to visit their families in the morning before returning to camp at the Mont Febe hotel in Yaounde later in the afternoon. As such the initial training programme was modified as the lions had their first training session yesterday in the afternoon. Today, there will be a training session in the morning open to the public and later in the afternoon there will be a press conference on a yet to be determined venue. The training session tomorrow afternoon will also be opened to the public but the last training session on Friday will be behind closed gates. Another press briefing is scheduled for Friday afternoon as from 4 pm.
