After an interesting performance, despite the defeat 2-3 against France on May 30, the national football team of Cameroon has intensified training ahead of the 5th qualifying match of the 2017 AFCON.

This Wednesday June 1, the lions will had their last training session before leaving for Nouakchott, where they are expected to face the Mauritanian national team.

Another training session is scheduled before familiarization with the Olympic Stadium in Nouakchott, tomorrow Thursday ahead of the game on Friday, June 3.

While Cameroon lost their friendly against France, Mauritania that was in Spain beat Gabon 2-0 in an international friendly.

Cameroon, currently leading group M with 8 points is closely followed by Mauritania with 7 points.

Cameroon will be directly qualify for the finals if should they win in front of host next Friday.

Any other result will keep the teams fixed until the last playing day. South Africa and Gambia will clash in another Group M derby.
