Head coach Volker Finke and his staff are looking for solutions to the problems facing the national selection.
The technical staff of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will give a press briefing today at the headquarters of Fecafoot in Yaoundé.
Among the major players who qualified for the national team of Cameroon for the final phase of AFCON, Equatorial Guinea 2015, there are indiscretions that the pre-selected list to be published today, will include new recruits, fruit of an exploration of Volker Finke and his collaborators to solve problems still plaguing the Indomitable Lions.
"Beyond the gained victories, the last matches of our team revealed that there are still gaps on the right side of our defense. We will also have to strengthen our midfield," said Etienne Sockeng, 2nd technical director of the national team.
Pending the publication of the list of the players summoned it should be recalled that preparations of the Cameroonian selection begins in Yaoundé on 05 January and will be completed on 16 January in Libreville in Gabon, a combination which will be punctuated by three matches of assessment before the departure for Malabo for the final phase of the game 17 January to 8 February 2015.
