Tottenham Hotspur will have to spend €15 million (£10.5m) if they are to sign Cameroonian international Clinton N’Jie from Lyon, according to Mirror.

N’Jie is a product of Lyon’s prodigious academy and played for the French club’s B team before debuting for the senior side against Reims in 2012.

The aforementioned report claims, Spurs have already had a bid of £7m rejected for N’Jie, but will up their offer with Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor heading out of White Hart lane, leaving Harry Kane as Mauricio Pochettino’s sole striking option.

N’Jie has a clinical record for Cameroon, scoring six goals in 11 appearances, while he scored seven goals in 30 Ligue 1 games last season.
The 21-year-old is blessed with exceptional pace and can play either striker or right-wing.

His shot accuracy of 73% was the second highest in the Lyon squad last season, behind left-back Henri Bedimo (75%), and only Alexandre Lacazette (54) created more chances out of Les Gones’ forwards (25).

Tottenham were the only club in the Premier League to have three players reach double figures during, with Kane scoring 21 times, followed by Nacer Chadli (11) and Christian Eriksen (10).

If N’Jie does sign for Tottenham he will become Pochettino’s fourth signing, joining Toby Alderweireld, Kevin Wimmer and Kieran Trippier.
