MINSEP installs anti corruption unit

The Minister of Sport and Physical Education recently commissioned to office the members of the anti corruption unit of that ministry.

The unit to be headed by the Inspector General of Services No. 1, Dohbobga Macias Nwana Dinga is charged with implementing measures to fight corruption as inscribed within the framework of the governments’ plan.

Minister Bidoung Mkpatt said the setting up of the unit is in respect of President Biya’s instruction to create anti corruption units in all the administrations. More so, he said corruption does not tie with sports values of honesty, justice, fair play, combativeness and solidarity.

The unit comprises personalities from the civil society, the national Olympic Committee, a representative of sports and physical education teachers, the clergy and the MINSEP administration. The technical secretariat will be headed by Evele Malik Atour to be assisted by Nde Divine, Nnoke Sengor and Ondoa Oyono.

Speaking shortly after they were commissioned to office, the head of the unit, Dohbabga Marcias said they were going to begin by sensitization notably through seminars to edify their colleagues before embarking on the repressive aspect of their mission.
