Ndoumbe Bosso Throws in Towel

His contract ended with Yong Sports Academy, but he is complaining of bad management and usurpation of duties.

The romance between Ndoumbe Bosso and Yong Sport came to an end on Monday January 13th with the latter throwing in the towel after his contract with the club ended. In a telephone conversation, Ndoumbe Bosso said he resigned because the club failed to negotiate a new contract with him.

He also complained of the usurpation of his duties by the Secretary General of the club. Ndoumbe Bosso said the dateline for the submission of the list of players to take part in the African Confederations Cup was concealed from him while the Secretary General secretly drafted the list and submitted to CAF. He also accused the management of the club of bad faith as they have been dragging their feet over renewing his contract while secretly negotiating with another coach.

Contacted on the issue, the Secretary General of the club, Alphonse Biffon said they have not yet received Ndoumbe Bosso's resignation letter and that Ndoumbe Bosso cannot talk of resignation when in effect his contract had come to an end. Ndoumbe Bosso has already been replaced by the coach of the Lionesses, Enow Ngachu, who will lead Yong Sport in their first-ever participation in the African Confederations Cup.

It has been dwindling fortunes for Ndoumbe Bosso who was recently removed as the coach of the national U-20 selection. He found consolation by winning the Cup of Cameroon final and many thought the adventure will continue on the continental scene. He left Bamenda yesterday 14 January 2014 for Douala to take up residence at his native Bonamoussadi neighbourhood.
