Assistant coach of Cameroon, Martin Ndtoungou Mpile reckons a tough outing after being drawn against Tunisia in the 2014 World Cup qualifier playoff. Ndtoungou Mpile spoke to Cafonline.com briefly after draw;
What is your take on the draw?
It is not surprising. It will be a tough game against Tunisia. Tunisia has always had good footballers. Another factor is the fact that Tunisia was reinstated after an administrative lapse by their opponents (Cape Verde) during the ultimate round of matches. They will be difficult to handle like most North African teams and they will also want to prove they deserve to be at this stage.
What do you know of the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia?
We are aware they have a cohesive team, with players who play together at club level. This is evident by the fact that, there are three Tunisian clubs at the semi finals of the continental club championships; Esperance (Orange CAF Champions League) and CA Bizertin and CS Sfaxien (Orange CAF Confederation Cup). It is also important we consider the fact that Tunisia is ranked above Cameroon according to the latest FIFA ranking.
