Negotiations are underway for a friendly between Cameroon and Congo as warm-up for the African Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea.
Following the Lions programme, the first phase of the training camp in Yaounde that runs from January 5-7 is expected to end with the Congo friendly.
The Lions are expected to leave for Libreville Gabon for the second phase of the training camp from January 7-16.
The choice of Libreville is linked to the presence of some teams that are part of the continental football Jamboree and thus offering an opportunity for a wide variety of friendly matches.
Libreville is also a coastal town with the same climate as Malabo, host city for the Indomitable Lions and other teams in Group D: Ivory Coast, Mali and host Equatorial Guinea.
