Everton boss Ronald Koeman is keeping tabs on Standard Liege star Eyong Enoh, according to reports.

Koeman was confirmed as Everton’s new manager on Tuesday, signing a lucrative three-year deal at Goodison Park.

The Dutchman is set to be handed a £100m transfer war chest to take the Toffees back to the top.

And according to the Mirror, he could use some of that cash to try and sign Enoh.

The 30-year-old has apparently been on Koeman’s radar for a while.

He made 24 appearances in the season just gone, scoring one goal and providing as many assists in the process.

The defensive midfielder, who has represented Cameroon on 55 occasions, is about to enter the final 12 months of his current Standard deal.

He spent time on loan at Fulham and has previously been the subject of interest from Crystal Palace, according to the Mirror.

One of Koeman’s first tasks as Everton boss will be to convince John Stones to remain with the club.

Starsport revealed both Manchester clubs are set to enter a £50m battle for the England starlet.
