New candidate admitted for FECAFOOT prez election?

Wednesday, November 26, 2014 is the deadline of "exceptional extra time" that the FECAFOOT Electoral Commission had granted a week ago to the five candidates in the race for the presidency of the Cameroon Football Federation to supplement or correct their records.

Until Tuesday, November 25, 2014, the five candidates were clamoured by media outlets to find out if that they had no intention to get back into the race because "the die is already stacked in favor of the candidate Tombi A Roko Sidiki", they chanted in chorus.

But, against all odds, one of five candidates made it at the headquarters of FECAFOOT Wednesday afternoon to complete the file.

"At the end of the additional period for candidates for the election of the President of FECAFOOT by the Chairman of the Electoral Commission of FECAFOOT in order to complete their application, the Technical Secretariat with the Electoral Commission found that a single candidate has made ??an addition to his record," reported a statement that has just released the communications department of FECAFOOT.

When the name of the candidate and the final verdict is given, "The Technical Secretariat will decide on it in the coming hours," says the text.

The elective General Assembly of FECAFOOT is scheduled Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Hotel Mont Febe Yaounde. At this time, notices are being sent to the delegates.

For now, only one candidate is allowed in the competition. This is Tombi A Roko, the current secretary general of the proceedings.
