Prince Ngassa Happi has resigned as member of the Normalisation Committee. He sent in his resignation letter to Fifa President Sepp Blatter yesterday.
Ngassa Happi on the recommendation of the government was appointed among other members of the Normalisation Committee which Fifa installed on 22 July 2013 with the mission to revise the statutes, conduct elections and manage the daily affairs of Fecafoot.
This mandate was later extended to November 30 and later to February 28. In his resignation the letter, Ngassa Happi says he had hinted the media that if the mandate was extended again he was going to resign.
To him another extension meant the failure of the Normalisation Committee. Though he promises to keep away from the media until the end of normalisation, he however says if he is provoked he would have to retaliate.
