Volke Finke, Indomitable Lions Coach: "We Need to be Very Careful"

"I think we are seriously preparing the encounter. Even though we have been eliminated from the 2014 World Cup competition, we have to present a good image of ourselves as a team and show to the World that we did not come to Brazil for safari trip. I think for now there is much pressure on the Brazilian side than us, because they need at least a point to move to the second round of the competition. For now, the only problem is that of Fabrice Olinga who cannot play because of a thigh injury. For the rest, we have tried to analyse the last two defeats even though there is something I can still not explain, I think for now we need to focus our mind on the last match so that we can leave with our heads up."

"It is a Difficult Game"

Jean II Makoun, Lion's midfielder,

"It is true that we are already out of the competition. The last match is also very important. Everybody wants to play the match. Personally, I have not played the last to matches because I respect the decision of the coach. I am a professional footballer. I know what it means to be on the bench. For the next encounter, if I am not among the first eleven, I will be on stand-by waiting if the coach will give me the opportunity. For the coming game it is going to be a difficult one. You know they {Brazil} will be playing under pressure in front of their public, To please their public, they will try to go in for the kill from the blast of the of the referee's whistle. So we shall need to be very careful."

"Please Forgive Me"

Alexander Song, Indomitable Lions midfielder.

"I want to beg for forgiveness to the Cameroonian public. I have already asked for forgiveness from my team-mates. Looking at what I did, I think is a gesture that has nothing to do with football. I am sure it shocked so many people. Through out my football career, I don't think, I am a player who likes problem or who has committed an error like this before. This is a very shocking gesture; it is not a good example especially for youths and children in particular. If I could do anything to repair it back I would. In football, it is not what people like seeing. People like watching good play. I committed an error that cost us three points because even though we were being led 0-1, we could have still done something good. So I wish to once more beg for forgiveness for the offense committed."
