After the Cameroon's win over Angola in preparation towards CHAN 2016 below were the reactions of Cameroon's goalkeeper, Patrick Hugo Nyame and Jose Antonio Kalamba, Angola's Head Coach.
Patrick Hugo Nyame (Goalkeeper & captain, Cameroon)
The victory is good for us. For us (Cameroon), what usually matters is the three points. We displayed that we are ready. We had to fight till the end, especially from the moment we were reduced to 10 players.
The important thing was to preserve the win and the three points. Our aim is to progress beyond the first round. After it will be another competition.
Jose Antonio Kalamba (Head Coach, Angola)
We showed too much respect to our opponent early in the game and were not masters of our game. We conceded a goal that turned out to be the only one in the game.
The second period was much better and we were more daring. I think we deserved to equalize late in the game but we were too inefficient. We were hasty in our bid to equalize.
